No audio when importing from DVD

I made a DVD from a video and tried to import is so I can add a menu and chapters.

The DVD imports and it SAYS there is audio in the properties, but the audio does not play and there is no sound icon on the thumbnail....

I have a DVD which I made from another program because it's compression is wonderful... Workshop usually imports the audio WITH the video...

This time when importing from DVD, on the edit menu you can right click on the thumbnail in Workshop and it shows properties - here it does show audio and video are present. But when you double click on the thumbnail - which puts it in the viewing area - there is no audio.

Oter videos with audio - the thumbnail also shows a little square in the right hand lower corner of the thumbnail which has a musical note. This is not present in the thumbnail in this instance - even though the properties say there is audio there.

I have tried starting a new project and importing the video/audio again... and it still will not play the audio.

Other DVDs made with same equipment work fine on import

Again - I AM NOT MAKING A DVD YET WITH ULEAD - I'm still in the importing video process.
