I am able create menus that play the video clip after clicking on the appropriate menu. However when previewing the clip on my computer it does not return to menu after the clip has been played, it continues and plays the next clip. The "return to menu" box has been checked.
What do I need to do to fix the problem?
After burning to a DVD disc, and playing it on a DVD player, will it read differently to the computer and return to menu?

Hi DK
Whose cage did you rattle?
Ok
I had problems with the navigation of the menus.
VS 9 default setting was (auto repeat when disc playback ends)( I think)
I was used to seeing ‘Continue to play next clip’ selected, I did not notice the change.
After burning my disc I found the mistake I had made, so back to the project and changed the navigation settings.
That didn’t work either, the navigation remained the same chose what I selected.
Fortunately I was burning to RW discs.
In the end I had to start again with a new project, new burner window etc
This time I made sure of the settings before the first burn, it worked ok.
I can only assume there is a bug that keeps the settings after burning, even though I changed the settings I could not change the result.
You say ‘the return to menu box has been checked’
I see the check box labelled ‘Auto repeat when disc playback ends’
When this is selected the drop down box ‘Return to Menu’ is disabled.(greyed out)

Menus
Thanks for the support folks. Sorry about the double posting, it was late and I saw VideoStudio after posting under Video.
That aside, all that I want is for a clip to return to menu after it has finished playing, when 2 or more menus have been set up. In Project Settings_Navigation Controls_ Clip Playback: the choice is 'Back to Menu' or 'Continue to play the next clip'. I selected 'Back to Menu' and burnt it to DVD. When played on the DVD player, the first clip continues to play and does not return to menu, which I want it to do.
I think the link that was posted may have some answers, if I don't find anything there I'll be back.

DK:
This question is probably redundant, but are you starting playback of your chosen clip by pressing ENTER on your remote control or clicking its menu thumbnail while it is highlighted? If you start playback of your DVD by pressing the Play button instead, then all clips on your menu will be played back in succcesion even if you chose "Back to menu" as VideoStudio's authoring module actually creates a PLAY ALL (all existing clips) button.
