video studio 9 burning a dvd "normalize audio" com

Post by petrea »

I'm sure this is a dumb question but if i select "normalize" audio when I burn a dvd - what does it do. I am creating a project with several interviews - all the speakers have differing audio levels - will this help?
thanks

normalize audio

hi,

yes, this what this feature is for. if you have several clips that have different volume levels, this feature should "normalize" all of the audio in your DVD. i think this will average the volume in your different clips so that they all have the same volume level.

when you have your tv volume set at 10, the audio volume throughout your DVD should be the same. you don't have to keep adjusting the volume of your tv. i know how that can be a pain.
