Hi All,
I have created a slideshow using CD & DVD PictureShow v3.0. It's approximately 300 slides with music, transitions, etc... Everything went smoothly and I was able to burn the DVD. It will play in any computer and it worked in certain DVD players (Koss & Daytek). However the issue I am having is it won't play in certain other DVD players (I tried it in 3 different ones - Hitachi, Toshiba, and some other one). The common property with the 3 non working ones are the players are a little older.
Is there anything special that needs to be done to have the slideshow play in the older players? Could it possibly be the media?
Thanks!
Chris.

This is just normal because different brands of DVD players use different types of optical lense readers to read data from a disc. If it plays ok on your computer or other DVD players, then the project you've rendered is ok. To maximize the compatibility of your dvd projects with as many devices as possible, make sure to use the lowest possible burning speed.
It also wouldn't hurt to use other dvd media brands (DVD-R or +R, whichever is supported by your burner). Avoid using RW discs. Very few dvd players support them.
