Before you hire someone to teach you the basics, why not download the video tutorials from Ulead's website?

http://www.ulead.com/learning/vs.htm

It's like watching someone teach you the basics for VideoStudio. You learn without fumbling with the manual, and it's free.

How do you get rid of the templates after you use it on one video?
Everytime I maek a video I get the xmas template.
I can't find any where on how to delete the template or change it .
Can you help?

Hi

If you are seeing the Christmas template then you are using the movie wizard.
If you are seeing only one template then your video studio is not fully installed.
If you are using Vs 9 there is an addition download via a download manager to install further templates etc.

The movie wizard creates a video to a standard ulead template, most people prefer to use the Video Editor.
The movie wizard gives you a sample of what can be achieved, you can do better.

Using the Video Editor you can create your own video, your own creation.
Select from the start-up screen.

But first watch the Video Tutorials already suggested to you.
Pressing F1 will access the help files which are worth a read.

Hi

Using the Movie Wizard.

I add my Video/s
I press 'Next'
I see the Theme Template library on the left
I see 13 options
The last thumbnail option is titled 'Template-none'
I select this
I press next, an info window promps me--- your movie will be created as a new project...........in Ulead VideoStudio Editor.....Do you want to continue?
I select Yes.

The movie wizard is closed and the Video Editor is opened with your video clip in the timeline only.
No other clips have been used.

The above was just a waste of time.

By opening the Video Editor and importing your video to the timeline would have achieved the same.
