Hello,
I would like to find a way (or tutorial !) to create a avi file with a turning earth together with some text. Same as the "UNIVERSAL PICTURES" theme. Does anyone know how I could do this ?

Here's a tutorial for Blender but it should help even with COOL3D.

You pretty much have everything you need. Space background and earth model. You could save image or images of the space video background and apply them as image texture to a flat plane and move them for perception. Then use earth model or create your own with texture. Now make your "UNIVERSAL" text object and use bend from object effects to curve the text. Group them and change orientation to create rotation or do them individually if you want them to go in different directions. Hope this helps.
