Burning final product to disk

Post by EvilKiwi »

Hi

A while back my friends and I finished editing one of our short films and got stuck at the burning process. Trying to burn onto DVD, have followed all the steps it renders starts to burn then a short time into the burn it stops and an error message says that the disk is full or no disk in the drive.

We are not sure if this is a step we missed in moviefactory with authoring or a more technical nature with the disks/drive. I read somewhere else that you have to have the same format disk as specified for your drive but we tried all sorts DVD-R, DVD+Rw etc and all the same result.

Any advice appreciated.

A bit more detail about your hardware wouldn't go astray here.

Which other burning software have you installed? NERO InCD by any chance? Any other packet writing software? These tend to take posession of your burner as soon as you insert a blank disk.

Does MovieFactory 1 have it's own burning software or do you have to use a seperate burning program. We have Roxio v5 is this compatible? Have created disc image through movie factory but can't seem to burn this

Tried to go through moviefactory and received error code: 80040154

We saw on the box of Movie Factory that NTZ CD Writing Engine is included. Is this automatically installed with the moviefactory or is it a seperate program on the disk that you have to install.
