Hi,
Another newbie question:
Can VideoStudio generate PAL and NTSC discs, or do you have to buy the "NTSC" or "PAL" version of the software? I tried to search the forum and it looks as it could...

The problem is, I'm passing through the US the day after tomorrow on my way to europe, after visiting my relatives in southamerica, and maybe I get the chance to buy the software for a better price than in europe.

I used until now the Pinnacle Studio 8 but did not like it, I tried out MediaStudio 8 some months ago and liked it a lot, but don't remember if it can generate both types of discs, and I cannot dload the trial version here...

BTW: Can you still buy MediaStudio 8? on the Ulead page, I see only a "pro" version which is rather expensive...

VideoStudio can generate both PAL and NTSC files and disks, and convert between the two.

The software itself is not of any specific type - you can change all settings from PAL to NTSC and back with no problem - and import - edit - and export either type.
