VS9 Won't Use Designated "Working Folder" For DVD

Post by michaeltee »

Hi,

Being somewhat short of space on Drive C, I went to VS9 preferences and designated a folder on Drive D as the "working folder". However when I attempt to burn a DVD project, VS9 ignores this and writes the files to it's original default folder in C > My Documents > Ulead, etc. In fact, if I delete the old default folder, VS9 re-creates it when I initiate the burning process. Am I missing something or is this a bug?

Any suggestions appreciated!

Hi Mike
Yes you are missing something, but that’s only cos ulead have forgotten to tell us.

VS 9 uses two working folders.
One as you know from File Preferences (F6) the other is designated for the burner module.

From the burner window click the lower left icon adjacent to the options cogwheel, select preferences or press F6.
You can allocate the second working folder from here.

Hope this helps
