Jog bar problem

I'm running MF 4 with update pack 2 installed. I'm having a problem with the jog bar control. When I try to use the jog bar to advance my video by 1X speed, the video instantly advances all the way to the end of the video (it works like a 'go-to-end-of-video' button). If I use the jog bar to advance by 0.5X speed, it works fine. The jog bar also works fine at all speeds when playing the video in reverse.

Anyone else run into this problem and is there a fix?

Can't help with a solution, but I can advise that my program behaves correctly and not as you describe. Maybe a re-install would fix it.

try enabling the "create index file for MPEg...." in the Preferences.

The problem was occurring in Windows XP Home Edition. When I switched to Windows XP Professional, the jog bar problem went away.
