MSP 8 Bass / Treble adjustments

Is there an easy way to apply treble / bass cust boost in MSP 8?

There is a voice reduction filter but it provides a limited treble and bass boost only. I have tried to load up a direct X equalizer, but care is needed as direct X plug-ins do not work with MSP 8, see previous topic.

I am saving the audio from my clips as wav files and applying the treble cut in another program and then bringing them back into MSP 8 as a work around.

Ideally an equalizer with 4 -10 bands, sliders and a preview feature (so you can hear the effect without having to close the filter) would be ideal, does any one know of a good Direct X plug-in that does this? I could use it in MSP 7 until MSP 8 is fixed.

There are lots of freeware Cubase VST filters around on the net which work with MSP and better than the built-in filters. Download and drop them into the aft_plug\VST folder, fire up MSP and you can use them.

Thanks I will do a websearch, hopefully MSP 8 will work with VST Filters. Do you know what the difference is between a VST filter and a Direct X plug-in?
