Disk full on new blank dvd

I captured and created a project just fine but the large file size required me to "fit to disk." MF went through everything fine until it tried to burn to the dvd it said the disk was full. I have tried several new, blank dvd's with the same result. The blanks are 4.7 and the compressed file size is on 4.3 so the movie should fit on the disks. I have the latest updates and haven't had this problem before. Any ideas?

Hmm, it probably has nothing to do with the disc actually being full or not big enough. Typically a blank disc will read to Windows as full or just '0 bytes avaliable'. Usually when I've encountered the problem you're describing another burning program was interferring or using the disc burner. Or my friends were not putting the disc in a DVD writer or it was a format the writer does not use.

Yes, it's really strange. I've been forced to reinstall mydvd. Now I have to capture with MF4 and burn with mydvd. Too bad, I was really enjoying MF4, it seemed like a really good product.
