What blank CDs to use?

What is the best type of blank CD to use when I am burning a slideshow I created in Pictureshow 3? The slideshow contains digital photos and MP3 audio. I want to make sure it plays on most newer DVD player models. I tried using a CD-RW CD and it would not play on my very new Sony DVD player

Many DVD players, brand names are more affected than others, have issues with RW media. Take the plunge and sacrifice a normal R CD, after all, they do not cost a fortune anymore. If that also causes problems, check a diferent player.
