Just recently something happened so that when I try to open a .jpg in an email from outlook express I don't get to the picture. PE opens and takes me to C:\Documents and Settings\DAVID M\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
there are a bunch of folders there but I can't seem to navigate to where the picture is and I never used to have to.
Also, i think something called quickview or something similar might have been what used to open. Not sure if it matters but i have ulead photoimpact loaded also.

Set the "File Associations" of JPEG and BMP files to use "Ulead Instant Viewer" or "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer". Browse for an image file in Windows Explorer. Right click on it and choose "Open With... > Choose Program". Select "Ulead Instant Viewer" or "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" then check the box that says "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file". Click Ok and you're good to go...
