Any Users of a KODAK EASYSHARE Z7590 ?

Post by TT »

I've successfully downloaded the free mpeg4 plug in but when I place my video on the timeline in V.S. 9 the video doesn't move.I'm transfering from my SD card thru my printer to a folder on my p.c.and then open this video and place it on the timeline but it doesn't play so I'm unable to do any editing.Am I doing something
wrong or should I try downloading the plug in again.Any help would be appreciated, thx TT

Do you get an error message when you import the video?

AS TO YOUR QUESTION....I get no error code ,the video just sits on the timeline after I press play until the time of the actual video lasts.

TT,
does the video clip you took with the Z7590 actually play back in the camera? Any chance you shot the footage in burst mode and not movie mode? If it does play in the camera, did you shot the footage in the camera's full VGA mode or lower QVGA? Reason I ask is perhaps the problem has to do with the frames per second the camera takes video at. The full VGA mode is 640 X 480 but at only 12 frames per sec whicle the QVGA is 320 X 240 at 20 frames? Just a thought :)
