I recently downloaded a Trial of PhotoImpact but after installation it won't run, it doesn't do anything, u can see it's busy for a couple of seconds but it just won't open it
At first I thought I did something wrong with the installation but I've been uninstalling & reinstalling, still doesn't work
What could be wrong?

hmm... make sure you meet the minimum requirements needed for PhotoImpact. By the way, what OS are you using?

I saw something on some other post about an anti-virus, I've got 1 on my PC, should I remove it b4 installing?
