-R disc and then using this disc "Create Video DVD" so I can add the menu options.
When I try using "Copy Disc", then "DVD+/-VR to DVD Video" and I have the source as my DVD-Writer and the Destination as a "Disc Image File" it gets as far as 98% Audio/Video Multiplexing before it completely freezes my whole computer and I have to push the restart button (the time clock freezes too)
When I go to Create Video DVD and join the clips and make the menu's and then hit burn it stays at 0% for hours with the time clock still ticking but nothing happens. (left it for 14 last time and nothing happened)
This is all I want to be able to do with this program and the reason why I paid $180 for it. When I first bought it I managed to convert 3 discs to DVD-Video and then created 1 disc with the menu's no problem but for some reason nothing will work now.
I have unistalled and then reinstalled the software about 6 times, tried it with the patches installed and without, updated the DVD drive for compatibility and nothing seems to work.
I have 17.7 GB free space on my hard drive, 1.60 GHZ, 504MB, I run XP professional, my DVD writer is a Samsung Writemaster.
Does anyone have ANY suggestions on what I can try?
