Post by daddygez »

Hi folks. Once I have finished with a project I want to free up hard drive space by deleting all the thumbnails and files but I can only seem to do it one at a time. is there any way of selecting all in one go to delete? thanks Gerry

Click on the first one to select hit. Press and hold the shift key and click on the last one to select them all.

I have tried that. shift or ctrl or alt plus arrow keys, none work. could it be a problem with the 7se version? I hope to upgrade to vs.9 soon

Found out how to do it. holding shift key select each one with the MOUSE and they stay selected, when prompted click "yes to all"

hi daddygez

As far as I know version 7 never could select all by shift-click, you had to click each thumbnail.
This is interesting
I have just tried VS 7 and I can select all by 'shift – click' the first and last thumbnail.

I can only assume that the installation of version 9 has overwritten some shared / common files, allowing this function to work in VS 7.

If you are intending to upgrade to VS 9, try the Trial Version first
After installing, try VS 7 Shift – Click function
Just interested.
