Importing Video Clips (msp7)

Quick Question Hoping For An Easy Answer.

when i want to import an clip and place it between two other clips msp7 cuts the clip to fit the gap where i want it to push the trial video back so the entire clip imports not just a piece of the clip to fill the gap.

So bascially how do you import video or clips into msp7 so they bump the rest of the video back so the entire clip shows???

Try holding down SHIFT while you click the insertion point.
