Actually, this link doesn't download the same file as the SmartDownload. The SmartDownload pulls down a file named DVDMenuBonusPack.exe, with different size and content.

What exactly are the differences in content between these two?

I am having an issue downloading this file, firefox gives me a "530: not logged in" error and IE throws a DNS error. Another question: why is Smart download not working? I always get a ‘cannot get URL from push file’ error.

I'm in a rural area that doesn't have high-speed internet available in any form

I've tried several times to download the 660MB of VideoStudio 9 add-on files over my 54K modem, but I can never get through a single file.

I emailed customer support 4 times and the reply I eventually got back was essentially "too bad."

I'm more than a bit upset since I paid to have the software shipped on CD in the first place since I couldn't download it. I can't believe they don't send these files along with it.

Anyway, if anyone has them written to a CD, I'm more than happy to cover your cost and pay for shipping and the CD.

My screen shows the UVS9 content pack, smartsound, ulead cool 3d, bonus DVD menu pack, and DVD diskrecorder 2.1.

In order to download the free MPEG4 plug-in, you must be using a full version, (not TBYB), and must be registered. You also must have an internet connection, because they use an activation code.

Thanks for your reply. I have actually quoted someone by mistake as I am not looking for the MPEG4 plug-in. I am after the smart download stuff in videostudio. I have managed to download everything listed in this post except the dvd content link given as:

My question was relating to this link which is not functioning. Can you help please?
