VS9 Slideshow Theme Templates Missing

I am using Videostudeo 9 and trying to create a slideshow for my wife's 40 b'day party. I went to the tutorial at this url http://www.ulead.com/learning/vs/vs9_02_1.htm to try and learn more about how to do this. Here they refer to slideshow Theme Templates. I didn't get any with my installation of VS9. Does anyone know how I can get these?

Or if I can purchase them?

Go to Tools then to Smart download and download everything.

If Smart download fails - it usually does - use these

I did the smart download after installation and I don't recall any obvious problems. However I don't suppose that means it worked OK.

How can I tell if I have anything missing that should have been added by the download?

Is there a list of options or something I can check my installation against to see if it is complete?

Hi robrwy,
I have VS9, I was able to edit and burn to DVD successfuly. After installing smartdownload I could not burn to DVD(Burned Partially).
So could you tell me from the above libks/exe which I should not install to prevent my burning problem?

I had similar problems al to try to download those Pack. I resolved the problem of velocity utilizing the software "Getright" it faster drop and permits the use of mirrors server. That software can be obtained to test for 30 days in the web. good luck

Actually, this link doesn't download the same file as the SmartDownload. The SmartDownload pulls down a file named DVDMenuBonusPack.exe, with different size and content.

Here's the size & MD5 Hash for the 2 different files...

One way of making sure you have a good file downloaded is to get the "MD5 Hash" (fingerprint) for the file. See below for the MD5 Hash strings for each of the SmartDownload files, plus other UVS9 downloads.

You can get a good MD5 Hash verification utility for Windows here

I have the exact same problem after downloading the esd version and installing both the patch and the extra templetes free with purchase and I only see under> home movies> x-mas tempelate....frustrating since I needded this before now and I cannot seem to fix it. If anyone has any suggestions please help....

I did some searchng and did not realize the smart download does not automatically install anything by default unless you check> execute after download, or something like that on the smart download window I installed all the files that were sitting inside the Smartdownload folder in the ulead..\\ dir but after checking out the hash file id's I had the first 2 content packs not matching what the hash files should be, I will try and download again, Thanks for the info!!

After re-downloading the content packs that did not check out OK with the hash checker I now have all the theme tempelates available
