CPU 100% VS9 while crating disc.

Post by jcolo »

Hi,

Why is VS9 taking a full cpu to write de DVD ( DVD burning process actually, not the pre processing) while nero takes a negligible 3-5% ?¿?¿

I have an external NEC DVD writer conneced via Firewire...

Cheers.

The CPU should be very unbusy while burning. Are you are following the procedure in the top sticky post?

Please post your BURN properties.

just to make sure I am completly clear. It is the process of actual burning to the DVD not the phase of converting/creating Vobs etc etc...

The CPU goes to 100% while moving the ISO image to the phisical DVD..

Hope it helps.

Cheers.

Can you try outputting to an ISO file and then burning that image using the "CD/DVD Disk Image Burner" that is on the same menu as Videostudio?
