Hello!
I use Windows XP Professional with service pack 2.
I downloaded and istalled the dps4_fd1.exe. I founded a new category on the Theme page. After this moment the theme preview list is empty in all other categories.
I uninstalled all of Ulead softwares, I deleted all remains (files, registry), I deleted files from my temp folders before I reinstalled the PictureShow. This wasn't enough. I used a recovery point and I killed all entry from registry. This wasn't enough. I filled and submited the Technical Support Form, but I'm not wary of answer.
I detected a difference. There is an 'index.smp' file in the 'C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead CD & DVD PictureShow 4\Content\Menu Template\Free Download 1' directory. This file is missing in all other template directories.
Can anybody help me?
(Sorry, my english is poor.)

Why don't you try contacting their tech support. I believe they have the fix already. Some users have the same issue as yours and were fixed already. ^_^

Re: tech support
The support team answered. The solution: index files in a zip file. It's working fine.

re: tech sopport
Can you please elaborate on the solution a bit more? i.e. steps on how to create the index.smp files?
Thanks!

I didn't create the index.smp files. I caught files by email from the support. Can I forward the mail for you?bmellesmoen wrote:Can you please elaborate on the solution a bit more? i.e. steps on how to create the index.smp files?

[Resolved] Same problem in french version
Hello,
I have the same problem with the french version. The "themes" menu is empty. I can only use the baby theme !
I send a mail to support and I get a message saying "we will answer soon". After two weeks, no answer.
Can someone help me ?
Thank you and Best regards.
PS: Excuse me for bad english language.

fix discovered
Hey, I discovered how to fix this menu themes not seen on Theme step of PS4.
I have my own PS4 that works with the menu themes list. I just copied my own index.smp files and extracted to each folders for the themes in the program files of the one not showing it.
Have your email address sent to me and hope it would work on yours. I'll send my own smp files.
Helping further

I'm having exactly the same problem with empty Theme pulldown menus. I'd really appreciate it if you could also send it on to me.Mozsi wrote:I didn't create the index.smp files.
