Whenever I start a project in MF3/4 I assign the working folder to a location easy to remember/find and navigate to using windows explorer.
For example: D:\MF4_xmas2000 (the NTFS drive).
You assign the working folder from the launching screen or under "Preferences" (F6) key. All the project and temp files go there.
When I'm done with the project and don't need it on the harddisk anymore I simply delete that working folder I had assigned or it's contents.
Sometimes I'll drag the folder to the recycle bin on the desktop, then after I know it's definitely not needed I'll empty the recycle bin (right-clicking on the recycle bin) -> "Empty Recycle Bin".
MF defaults to a location under your "Username" (login name for the xp machine). So if you never assigned a working folder then look there for the projects.
You can simply delete that assigned directory that was the "Working Folder".
Make sure MF isn't open and using that "Working Folder" when doing this.
Also use the windows cleanup utility to cleanup temp files the programs and windows uses.
Hope this helps,
MD

What I think you are saying is that MF4 does not have a way to delete projects and their associated files from within MF4. Maybe someone needs to inform the developers of this rather glaring deficiency.maddrummer3301 wrote:Whenever I start a project in MF3/4 I assign the working folder to a location easy to remember/find and navigate to using windows explorer.

You also imply that all the important content is located solely in the working directory and its subdirectories. IOW, I do not have to chase down anything else other than to clean up unimportant material that is kept on a temporary basis.
I am aware that files are being kept in the profiles under All Users\Application Data\Ulead Systems and \username\Application Data\Ulead Systems. Is it necessary to delete the content in those two locations too?
