The installshield setup launcher that launches the professional theme pack
will not work. Download went smoothly.
The movie wizard installshield setup launcher is on my
desktop. After running this and with the final "finish" nothing happens.
I spoke with ulead tech support and they felt it was a microsoft issue.
Tech support said to go to run, type msconfig, do diagnostic startup.
Did this and same thing happens.
I diabled antivirus, popup, and screensaver. I am logged in as
administrator.
I tried downloading same program to my laptop - same thing happened.
It will just not launch for me. What can be preventing this? I worked on it about 4 hours yesterday attempting various changes and was not successful. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean you the file you had downloaded on your Desktop computer you copied across to your laptop and the same thing happened,I tried downloading same program to my laptop - same thing happened
OR
Did you download it from the internet for a second time on your laptop.
I am guessing that you copied it from your desktop, in which case it sounds as though your download was corrupted. It would be very unusual that you have 2 computers both with the same system error.
If you downloaded a second copy to your laptop, do you ever connect these two computers together, in which case you may have to run a virus checker as one computer could pass a virus on to the other.

Try checking your Windows XP error messages
If you have "my computer" displayed on your desktop
right click "my computer"
manage
expand "Event Viewer"
now look at the error messages in
1. Application
2. System
Look for items with a red circle and white X inside.
Double click the error. Double click the blue link which should give you some guidance about the error found.
