Missing frames

Post by Eric »

Hello.
I use MF 2 (because is was in the box with the DVD EZMaker USB2.0)
When I look back at a burned DVD I notice missing frames. Scenes with fast action are loosing frames. What can be the reason?
I have Pentium 4 CPU 1.7 gHz, Windows XP sp2, 256 mB Ram
I hope someone can help me with this. Everything else is working very well.
Thanks.

I assume you mean you are trying to capture a video to convert it to DVD.

The problem is partly an over-worked system. Try closing down any program that is not necessary to the capturing but is running in the background - screensaver, virus protection, firewall etc.

I have a question on capturing, too, which I am about to post - see "Capturing - dropped frames and preview mode"

Thank you. I will check this out.
I will also monitor your question because the solution for that will solve my problem as well.
Eric.
