Repeated Crashing and Burning

Whenever I author a DVD all is hunky and dory right up till I create an iso or try to burn to disk. I get as far as step 4- compiling media and navigation data- and then it crashes. Without exception, no matter if I use one of the templates or not.

I'm running 1.2 SE from a Canopus Storm2 bundle- with the patch for 1.2 from the Ulead site.

This is on an XP pro machine- homebuilt Athlon 1.4, 512 mb ram, 1 40gb and 1 160 gb drive, no other issues whatsoever.

Anyone had a similar experience?

Have you tried a complete uninstall (including deleting all references to WS in all drives) and re-installing? Sounds like one file may be corrupt.

I have removed everything. Oddly enough, the first time I used it it ran fine. Then I applied the patch for the canopus hardware and it stoppped working. Since then, it won't work on reinstalls either. I'm going to check the registry to make sure that's clean as well.
