Hi Everyone,
I just purchased VideoStudio and used Smart Download to try and download the Content Pack (As the install suggested doing). But VideoStudio was open so the Content Pack could not be installed and errored out. So I closed VideoStudio and started Smart download again, but it refused to download the file (or would start) and only leave a 0 byte file. There was only 1 package (package 3) the I got the full file for. But for sone reason the other 3 I can't get again. Please help.

Unfortunately you are not the first.
Have you tried deleting the partly downloaded file and trying again?
If this does not work you will need to send an email to Ulead so that they will give you another download address (an FTP link) and I would strongly recommend you then use a download manager (such as "get right" - do a search for it in google or ask jeeves)

I sent an email to Ulead today. I'm hoping to get some help from them on this. I did try and delete the partial files and retried the download, but still it did the same thing. It seems as if its looking at some file or setting in the registry to determine if it was download. I wish I could at least reset what ever flag its using.
By the way, what will "Get right" help me with? In the mean time I'll check it out. Thanks again for your reply.

Here is the link to "Get right" you can use it for FREE without having to register. http://www.getright.com/get.html.
Get Right is whats known as a "Download Manager". What it does is enables you to restart a download if for some reason you lose your internet connection. Instead of having to start again from the begining you "carry on from where you left off" it "remembers" where you were downloading from and how much you have already downloaded. If its a site that needed a password to get in, it remembers that also.
It also looks to see if the same file can be downloaded from an alternative location, if so it will download bits from each so you get it faster.
