"Save Trimmed Video" problem

Post by gotrips »

I have videos from several different digital cameras and successfully trimmed the Video (with audio) from several clips (mix of AVI's and MPG's). On one camera though the audio is NOT getting included.

The steps I use are Mult-Trim Video > Clip > Save Trimmed Video

The properties of this movie are:
MPEG files
24 Bits, 320 x 240, 25 fps
Frame-based
(MPEG-1), 4:3
Video data rate: Variable
Audio data rate: 0 kbps
MPEG audio layer 0, 48 KHz, Stereo

It says the Audio Type is MPEG Audio Layer 1 Files, while the other MPG's that I trimmed successfully were MPEG Audio Layer 2 Files.

Any ideas?[/quote]

Which version of UVS are you using? There have been problems with some versions and splitting and trimming videos, which were addressed in patches.

I would try an audio data rate greater then 0 kbps if you want to hear sounds. The source clip might have had this property set to 0 accidentaly... Try setting this to 224 kbps in your source clip prior to the STV action.
