Lost My Music
CVS Ultimate 2023: So, I'm happily creating/editing a short video. I create a MY FAVORITES folder in the music area. I then click on the ScoreFitter folder and ALL of the clips/music is GONE (not visible). Similarly, I click on Triple Scoop folder... all clips GONE! Sound Effects folder and clips are still there, no problem. Did a computer restart, nothing changed. How do I get my music clips/songs back? Thanks.

I am not on the pc so cannot check
But have you tried to do a search, if so clear the search box.
Are you able to provide a screen shot of the music library......

Re: Lost My Music
Just wondering if you have applied in recent days the update patch for VS2023 bringing the build to version 268? It shouldn't have affected this aspect of the program, but who knows?
Otherwise, when I go first to the ScoreFitter page, nothing happens for a little while, though there is a small box which shows a progress bar and it says "Preparing Library". That takes a little while, though then the ScoreFitter page shows all its icons. Same for Sound Effects and Triple Scoop (although that one is quite quick).
Otherwise, I can only suggest you close VS and go to C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64) and rename the 26.0 folder there to 26.0_OLD. Then OK out and restart VS. It will take some time to rebuild its database, but this has been know to correct the type of fault your have encountered.

Re: Lost My Music
Ken - Yes, I've updated to .268 - and immediately thereafter everything was fine. It seemed that the music "went away" after I created a "MY MUSIC" folder to place my fav music clips.
Good News - I performed the fix you recommended and VOILA, it worked! Thank you so much!!!
Can you tell me, in layman's terms, what could have occurred there??? And of course, what should I do the NEXT TIME this occurs? (Change it back to 26.0 ?)
Thanks a ton!

Re: Lost My Music
What might have happened was that the new My Music folder created a blip in the existing database of all of VS's assets. And the music choices disappeared. That database for VS2023 was contained in the original 26.0 folder. By renaming it, when you restarted VS, it could not find its database so set about creating a new one, including all the original assets. So you now have a new 26.0 which recreates the database without the blip, and Score Fitter etc reappear.
If the problem reappears, yes, you could try the same thing again. You could rename your new 26.0 as something else and rebuild a newer 26.0 database. You could certainly delete your first 26.0_OLD folder. You would not want to take off the _OLD part to reinstate the original 26.0 as that would reinstate the blip. In fact, we only say to rename the 26.0 folder in case the new database which is created is worse than with the original blip. But as everything is better, you would keep the new 26.0 and could delete the 26.0_OLD folder altogether right now...
