Video Studio 2023 V26.1.0.268 Service Patch 1 Release Notes.

The well awaited service patch for VideoStudio 2023 has been released today.
The patch can only be applied to the current GM release version 26.0.0.136

The Patch should be available from the programs auto update or Check for Update options as of today 31 Jan (EST).
Please find attached the Service Patch 1 release notes as PDF.

After Installing this patch the version should show as 26.1.0.268

Patch fixed the issue i reported.
text overlays with space character now renders a space at the correct width

However, New Blue Title Pro 5 has not improved.
can not use.

So you can at least install New Blue with VS2023 SP1, I cannot have any of the New Blue Apps installed, Program crashes a few seconds after launching.
Yet with VS2021/2022 also installed, with the exception of NBTP5, the NB apps are mostly fully functional, there are a few filters that if selected, cause an instant crash

Finally sorted the issues I had with New Blue, went through all my collection of filters and found many that had been corrupted over time, so completed a massive purge of NB filters then installed what was left, VS2023 now opens and functions correctly

NBTP5 still does not work correctly and have completely removed it, but not bothered as I have a fully working stand alone version of NBTP7 installed

I got this link on the internet. The file is hosted in dwnld.videostudiopro.com, so I think it's the offical link published by Corel.

If you have installed the patch through the recommended way, that is through the program, then a copy of the service patch is saved to our PC here:-

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Corel\VideoStudio2023

However! if you reinstall Video Studio 2023 then you will install the latest up to date version, no Service Patch is required.
The version should be 26.1.0.268, at least that's what I see.

My own opinion...
I think 2023 will get another update (Service Patch 2) sometime......this year
Version 2024, well historically VideoStudio being released in February, I guess that will be Feb 2025, again my own opinion.

Corel could have release 2024 now, effectively we would be paying for the service patch, they did not do that, I say good on you Corel.

Maybe, like Lata said in the Wish List of VideoStudio 2024, it will not be a major update.

Just like CorelDRAW 2022 & 2023 I guess, they shared one same major build number (26).

I am still waiting for a surprise for VideoStudio users.
