Very sad.

I have used this forum for a number of years and a number of problems.

Trevor, Ken and many others have always solved my queries. Many thanks to you all.

Perhaps time to move camp?

Thank you all, have learned a lot and hope to make the transition to another tool over time.
It has been a good journey to have started using this tool as it has been a good place to start from.

Does the wayback machine automatically save copies of forum pages like these? I've just taken a quick peep for certain topics and many are not yet archived because they are still available on the web.

Many thanks to Trevor, Ken, RobertOZ and others who helped with my historical issues with Newblue conflicts with this software.
Sadly, I think not all pages of this forum will be saved.
But everyone can go to the wayback machine, save and archive pages now before the forum is closed.
Hope, love, and everything grows

The Humble Bundle now have the Corel software package available for the next 21 days, Painter 2023, Paintshop Pro 2023 & Video Studio Pro 2023 for AU$50.73, however no mention that support could be non existent, who do Alludo have left who will be able to answer "How To" questions, they seem to have retrenched the existing Corel staff

It's the basic version of VS, PSP, and AS3. It's $25USD. If one needs Aftershot, which hasn't been updated in a long time, or Painter, then for the price, I guess it's alright

I admit this is rather shocking news. I have used Corel's Tech Support in the past and i can say: They Suck! Any help I've received has been via this forum. I did receive a Patch a few days ago. I assume the patch is intended to fix the "Out of Memory" error.

So, thank you, Mr. Berry, Lata, and many others for all their help and support.

I will now begin investigating Vegas Pro 21, as one of the contributors has suggested. Thanks All!!

This is a great loss. I will miss Ken Berry, Lata, and RobertOZ. I hope a VS forum continues as it was user friendly with excellent moderators.

Hi, I guess Aludo AI will take things over. I hope it scans the thouseds pages of the forum and will make sense of it all.
Yes, the competition is fierce and no NLE is perfect, only the one you learn it's culprits workarounds.

It was shocking and sad news.

If you want my opinion, I will tell you not to be optimistic about the future of VS.
Of course, this is just my personal opinion.

They had a year from February 2023 until now to plan and release version 27, But they only provided an update from last year's version.

At least, I wish they would release the program's bug fixes along with a small amount of new features in version 27.

I feel that Alludo may cause VS to regress in the future.

VS had a lot of crashes and I welcome the fixing of these crashes, but VS needs to be upgraded, it still has many shortcomings and needs new features.

I am losing my hope for VS little by little.
CyberLink PowerDirector is a good alternative that is on par with VS.

Sorry to say this ladies, but it proved to me that management should never be left in the hands of a woman.

I hope Alludo doesn't take away this Ulead souvenir from us with wrong policies and destroy Corel's legacy.

What a shame. I've found this forum to be a lifesaver and a wonderful educational source of info/tips. It doesn't look good for the future of VS. It seems like this new mob are pushing us off VS. I have never had a good experience with their support desk.

Have a look at the new forum for VS and PSP which Trevor (lata), Kathy_9 and I have set up at https://psp-vs-forums.freeforums.net/ Have a look at it and think about registering there. You will get all the same service there that you have received here, and with much the same people as just about all of our current Advisers have already signed up there.
