The common limitation of Facebook groups is the fact that they are not "organized", and are hard to search. A forum format is much more user-friendly in that department.
I am the moderator of that Paint Shop Pro group.

As for future home of this forum I highly recommend Discord. Easy to create channels, easy to create threads, easy to create forum like experience for the users. Has voice chat, screen sharing etc. Posts can be pinned for easy access, macros that show pre-defined messages can be created etc.

For me these old fashioned forums are dead when modern alternatives are better in almost every sense.

Only thing that is not good is search engines that are kept out of discords walled garden.

PLEASE KEEP THE USER FORUMS.
>>>> I NEED THE INFORMATION AND HAVE SOME THINGS THAT I NEED TO LEARN.

I just signed up this week on the forum.

I have just recently found much helpful information on using Scripts in Paintshop Pro.

I also notice that some things have been identified as problems with Paintshop Pro and that the response from support is that they may be addressed in future versions of Paintshop Pro.

If that is what one would get as a response, then a work around as often provided in the forum is very helpful. Support not so much.

Having said that, I wonder why for Scripting, Corel has not provided updated versions of the Scripting guide and the Scripting API
Is that perhaps slated for a future version?

I am not sure who Kevin is. How do I contact?

Unfortunately, we have essentially begged them to keep the forum open but they have made it clear it will close down. In my post just above this one I have, however, given you the address of a new forum we have just created outside Alludo/Corel, to try to look after our many users who have either PaintShop Pro or VideoStudio. Apart from the three Site Administrators here who started up this independent outside forum -- and I am one of them -- we have also got all the main Advisors on those two products to switch over to the new forum, as well as a growing number of other users who are already more than familiar with those two products. So we believe users will be well covered when they switch over to this new forum.

Just to remind you it's at https://psp-vs-forums.freeforums.net/ So please feel free to visit it, and if you like it, please become a registered user of it. You can still seek help from Alludo Support, of course, but this new forum will also be offering a lot of additional support.
