Shalom all,

Happy New Year to all of you the forum members and Corel tech support staff!

Although I have been using PaintShop Pro for many many years since version 2 to present 2023 version (all of those versions are Ultimate), I consider myself average in PSP skills and I never consider myself a whiz or genius in PSP skills unlike all of you who are amazing in creating PSP graphic art. I use PSP mainly for beautiful aviation screenshots.

Enclosed here is gorgeous wallpaper by Microsoft that I would like to use as my wallpaper for my Windows desktop window. My question is how to remove all those letters, numbers, and words from the wallpaper?? I can use clone brush to remove but that would leave amateur smudge.

How do I do that so that I can have wallpaper without words for my desktop window, please?? Thank you for any assistance any of you might provide.

Regards,

Aharon

if you click on "Like what you see" it will tell you what the scene is and you can do a search to find the image without the text.

I cleaned up the image you posted by using the selection tool w/magic fill and smart clone; not the regular clone.

Ahhhh magic fill WOW that is amazing trick that I have never used before!! Thanks so much for extremely useful video showing how magic fill works!!! Got to try it next time after years of using clone brush spending long time brushing off unwanted objects trying not to leave smudges hhhhahahhahhhhahha

And thanks a zillion for your wallpaper Much appreciated Now I know how to remove words from future wallpapers created by Microsoft that I like

You are very welcome and don't forget about Smart Clone too. I used that on the bottom half of the wallpaper.

Yeah I realize that it is easy to use normal or smart clone for lower right corner of the wallpaper to eliminate battery indicator and WI FI icon BUT not sure what you mean when you use smart clone on bottom half of the wallpaper. Are you saying that you did not use magic fill to eliminate the clock time and the date on bottom half of the wallpaper? Sorry if I have to ask as I am NOT whiz and I am average user of PSP. And I got to know for sake of future when I see more wallpapers by Microsoft that I like.

Correct, I did not use Magic Fill on the date/time. I tried that first and wasn't happy with the results so I used Smart Clone instead.

Thanks for interesting link to video instruction for smartclone. Smartclone looks like copy and paste to me. Looking at first stage of video, smart clone does leave smudge on grass but the other stages of other examples in that video link look great.
