I purchased VideoStudio Ultimate 2023 - Upgrade on the 16th November 2023 and installed successfully this month. However when I try to launch the application I get the splash screen and then nothing. I note that several other users have also posted with similar issues but there does not appear to be a single common solution.
I have tried reinstalling several times including using the VS 2023 Clean Up tool after I uninstalled using Programs and Features, and then reinstalling. Each time the product will not launch.
I am using Windows 10 Version 22H2 and also have Video Studio 2021 and Video Studio 2019 installed and these launch flawlessly. I have read that Video Studio 2023 should work with previously installed versions.
Can anyone offer any solutions? On site suggested renaming the uvDV.dll file to uvDV-old.dll in C:\Program Files\Corel\. I have also read that registry entries need to be deleted https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?t=70393
This is the first time I have had a version of Video Studio that failed to run so this seems to be a bug with 2023. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

You seem to have covered re-installing and using the cleanup tool.
Can I ask if you are running PaintShop Pro 2023 as Video Studio 2023 may not launch, although could have been fixed with a PSP update.(not on my pc to check)
There is a folder 26.0 used as a reset, rename or delete this folder
C:\Users\User name\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)
Launching the program for the first time takes a while whilst the folder is created as new.
