PSP2023U Cannot Adjust Selection Marquee w R Mouse Button

Post by BIBLEfreak »

I have not found this reported anywhere. I find it hard to believe only my machine has this issue. And if it does, it will be a nightmare to track and fix.

Here is a video link of the issue as it occurs. It's a bit difficult to explain. (https://biblefreak.org/PSP2023U/)

Open any files type to the complete edit workspace (95% of my workflow is jpg)
Once the image is loaded to the workspace
Open the selection tool (using any Selection type)
Select an area on the image using L Mouse button.
Select the selected area using the R Mouse button.
Attempt to move with R Mouse button.

This results in the image jumping out of it editing area. It does appear the selected area moved.
The canvas area is left with video artifacts.

See video link to review.

Currently running PSP2022U with no issues, and have used versions of PSP predating Corel's acquiring the application, these include. PSPX6, X9, X8, 2018, 2019U, 2022U.

You are not alone. This is a known issue and has been reported to Alludo/Corel. No fix as of yet.

I can't reproduce this issue in PSP v2022.

Correct, it's only an issue with PSP2023.

If I recall correctly it started for me after the last update. Very annoying as I would often move a selection. I now have to switch to edit selection,
