I know it is budget software but I should appreciate it if they make it more expensive and take out most of the errors.
On audio in particular, VideoStudio scores low in my experience. When creating a project, clicks are added to the audio. After rendering, there are fewer clicks but still clicks remain.
If you split a clip with audio in it, you get a click. Even if you do nothing else with it: splitting a file with audio in it gives an audible click.
I noticed when extra clicks appear:
If you use an mp4 video with sound in a new VideoStudio project and this video has been previously edited and rendered with VideoStudio, you might get clicks in the audio of this part of the new project file and also in the rendered mp4 video from it. Not always, sometimes.
Double rendering the same file causes sometimes clicks in the new file.

Re: VideoStudio adds disturbing clicks to sound
VS has never had good audio editing and in fact when rendering, VS can introduce audio blips - see https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?t ... ilit=blipsAntois wrote: you will get clicks in this part of the new project file and also in the rendered mp4 video from it.
