Relink clips prompt not coming up

Post by Larry Tate »

I am going back to work on an older project and some of the clips i used in it have been moved. It used to be when this happened that videostudio would give me a prompt that the clips needed to be relinked, along with information as to what the clips information was and where it was at when I originally used it. I am no longer getting this prompt, it just shows blank spots where the clips used to be, and no information as to what the name of the clip is or where it used to be, so I dont even know what file I am looking for or where it was supposed to be. Anyone else ever have this problem and know how to fix it?

Make sure that Relink checking is activated in Preferences/General

Yup, that's it. Thanks so much for the help, it is much appreciated. So peculiar because I definitely never unchecked that box. Oh well, fixed now.
