Project saved over another project

Post by irviner »

I was working on 2 projects at the same time
I saved the 1st project Miami.vsp
I saved the 2nd project Chicago.vsp

VS crashed while working on 2nd project (Chicago) and when I recuperated the 2nd project I saved it by mistake Miami.vsp
As a result Miami.vsp and Chicago.vsp have now the same timeline and I lost Miami project

Is there a way to recuperate all the work done on the 1st project ?

Thanks

Depending on how you save your projects, you might find the .vsp file in C:\Users\*****\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\My Projects

Like most any program, VS warns you if you do a "save as" over top an existing VSP. Hence if you don't have a backup, then unfortunately, there isn't a VSP to recover.
