I have lost the properties/settings bar (for pen tool)

Post by jparnold »

I was using the Pen Tool and accidentally pressed a key or clicked somewhere I should have and now I can't see that bar where you can change the bar 'type' (from single line to single line with arrow one end or the other or both ends) or the thickness etc etc. I thought I could 'find' it again in the View drop down menu but gave up searching (thought it might be more intuitive).

Please someone advise how I 'reinstate' that bar?

The tool options palette is under View-> palettes -> Tool options.

Thanks
Well that's odd. My mind told me to look under View > Toolbars. Anyway I have it back. Thanks

I believe the tool palette option used to be there under Jasc PSP7 & 9, so pretty sure your not loosing your mind either. :)

"so pretty sure your not loosing your mind either." Wow that's a relief ;-) Maybe I remember noticing such things when I used PSP9

BUT how do I reduce the 'height[' of the 'properties? I am sure it was not as 'tall' and now I can't move it to a place which doesn't cover other 'things' of the screen

No I didn't realise that it could be docked and a few days ago accidentally found that I could and so now it is docked.

Sorry I would read read your reply and entered this reply if I had received an email advising of your reply (I have never worked out how to ensure I get notifications sent to my email address).
