I'm trying to use Inspirational-Blowing leaves looped as background music. The end of the sample has a quiet bit I'd like to clip off, however it seems I am unable to split that bit away. It's just not an option. Also, I want to decrease the volume level of the clip, but every time I do so, it doesn't take and goes right back to 100. I've now tried this on 2 machines with the same result.
Is there something wrong with the way my software is functioning or are these really not options? Am I going to have to edit the sound clip in a separate program and bring it back in?
Using 2023 Ultimate on both win10 and win11

Re: Edit Score Fitter Music Sample
Hi Julie
Apologies for the late reply to your post.
I ran a few tests using the Sunshine – Blowing Leaves
1 / volume adjustment from a right click Adjust Volume did not retain the new level.
2 / Switch to Sound Mixer – Attributes tab and the new levels were retained as were adjustments within the Sound Mixer tab.
So yes a bit of a bug here #1
3 / Removing the fade at the end was a bit more difficult but think that may be by design as the clip length can be adjusted.
4 / I could increase the length to run over my video, adjust end volume level to 0
5 / as a workround create a new sound file (Wav) of the sample, Share – Audio- Wav, using that I can trim the ends. sample attached
