Welcome Screen Issue

Post by Clive »

Hi Everyone

Can someone out there help me please?

Every time I open Paintshop Pro 2021 on Windows 11, it shows a Welcome screen advertising the latest Paintshop Pro software which I would like to prevent.

I have tried clicking File, Preferences, General Program Preferences, Miscellaneous and removed the tick in the "Show splash screen when application starts" box, but it makes no difference.

I did have some notes of how to remove it on my computer but unfortunately I’ve had to have it rebuilt and all my notes were lost and I’m not sure if I can get to previous messages sent to me on this forum, so can someone talk me through another way of trying to prevent it opening?

My thanks to anyone who can help

Clive

Hi Kathy

Absolutely amazing isn’t it, I can watch a short video clip on how to do something or someone can suggest a way of doing something with my computer, but mine always has to be different.
I followed the route you told me and do you think I could see a Tab button, No chance.

I ended up clicking around all over the place, don’t ask me what I clicked but I managed to bring up a screen showing the Tab button and did what you suggested and it worked.

So, thank you for your help its much appreciated :-)

You probably clicked over to the Complete Workspace. The Essentials and Photography workspaces have fewer options.
