Is there a way I can save my favorite fonts in PSP? I have tried hiding them in Settings for Windows 11, but they still show in the dropdown list in PSP. With over 400 of them, it takes a while to find my favorites. I have used the search and populate in the Font menu, but half the time I don't know what I'm looking for and would rather place them in a special place.
Thank you!

Re: Saving Favorite Fonts?
Yes and no. Technically PSP does not separate fonts into sub-folders/categories. PSP finds all installed fonts, and displays the ones that it supports.
But PSP does let you save Presets. If there are better options I don't know what they are.
A preset will store everything, font, size, color, etc. But technically so long as you left size and color at pretty standard settings you could quickly create a preset for each of your favorite fonts. Then when you want to use one, choose it from the presets list and make your changes to color and size later.
Here you can see the presets menu at the front of the tool options bar, to save a preset just hit the Save icon on the presets menu, highlighted in this screenshot.

Re: Saving Favorite Fonts?
I tried this, but I'm limited in the categories and font styles in this preset menu. I would love to load my favorite fonts into this, but am unsure how to load a font into the Presets menu. Would this be in the tutorials?

Re: Saving Favorite Fonts?
Here is a link to the help article on text presets - https://help.corel.com/paintshop-pro/v2 ... #/l2TOC216
As noted in my original reply you need to hit the "Save Preset" button to save your preset to the list.
I'll add that if you create a sub-folder in the Presets folder, and move your presets into that folder, you can create a custom category that will only show your presets. If you can't find how to do that in the help files it's pretty easy.
1) Open PSP
2) File -> Preferences -> File Locations
3) Choose "Presets" from the list on the left and you'll see all of the folders where PSP looks for presets. The one you want is usually stored in your Documents folder. SOmething like this "C:\users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\YOURVERSION\Presets"
4) Go to that folder and create a new empty folder named something like "Favorite Fonts"
5) Grab the text tool.
6) Set up your font the way you want it.
7) Open the Presets menu
Hit the "Save Preset" button.
9) Give your preset a name
10) Hit the "OK" button to save the preset.
11) Repeat for all presets you want to save.
12) Go back to the Presets folder, find all of the Presets files you just made and move them into the sub folder you created, in my case "Favorite Fonts"
Now when you open the presets menu, you can choose "Favorite Fonts" from the category drop-down list and only your fonts will show up.
