I am posting this for a friend.
"This is the error message I get when I try to change the view of my tubes. It use to show
a preview on the left side and now it doesn't. I was able to work in 32 bit for a while until
I tried to change the view of it so I could preview my tubes. Then the script error comes up
and I can't "x" out of it. I have to shut it down with the Task Manager.
Here is the error I am getting. It says "script error".
file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Corel/Corel%20PaintShop%20Pro%20X6/Languages/EN/GeoTagging/js/GoogleAdvanced1.js
That is what shows up with the error message.
Anyone have an idea about this?
She joined a couple of years ago, but doesn't remember her credentials to log in, and can't sign up again for some reason. What can she do to rectify that problem? She wants to re-join.
I know it would be better if she could explain it herself.

Re: Script Error
This comes from the google maps integration in Manager. Corel lost/gave up their access to Google's APIs. So now it can't connect with what it had.
If she has no interest in the geo-location options she can follow the last two posts of this topic - https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?t=63297. Those cover options for disabling the old Maps functionality.
If she wants the geolocation options that requires more work and a Google Cloud account. But with a well written/recorded tutorial is relatively easy to do.
For the forums - I should leave this to the admins but I'll just put this out there.
If she can't sign-up again she might be trying to use the same email address as her account here uses. In which case she should be able to just use the "I forgot my password" option, enter her email, and she'll get a password reset email she can use. - https://forum.corel.com/app.php/user/forgot_password

Re: Script Error
Hi Leslie - have her email us at contactcorelwebboard@corel.com with her information from her old account; whatever she remembers, email address, user name, etc. and we'll try to locate her old account or get her signed up with a new one. Thanks, KathyLeslie wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 6:21 pm I am posting this for a friend.
