After creating a 3d text objuect if you move it or resize and move it changes the lighting or highlights. It's especially noticable with chrome or metal texture. Any ideas how to maintain these qualities?
Thanks
Moving changes color and specular highlights

Thanks for your reply Jase,
I may have not have given you all of the info.
1. Create a text object with chrome and highlights.
2. Move or resize it on the page (bewcause its the wrong position or its too big)
The moment you move it the color or highlights change.
It always centers the text object in the center both horizontal and vertical automatically, so I must always resize or re position.
Thanks
Gary

I think the only way you could do this would be to key frame the lights so they stay relative to the front face of the text, plus make sure all the lights maintain the same colour from keyframe 1 to the last keyframe Regarding the texture you could either load your own texture in, or use one of the image textures in the easy palette as the material gallery textures are designed to move.
I could be wrong as I have been only using this software for about 3 months and discover stuff as I go depending on the project I am working on.
Cheers hope this helps
