VIdeo Studio pro 2021 issues with timeline and trimming
When I trim a video clip in the timeline I expect that clip of the original video to maintain the portion of the video that I clipped whether the segments around it are edited, shifted, etc. What I'm experiencing instead is lag in the timeline when I preview it, and shifting of segments which weren't edited so that when I get a portion edited and edit the video before or after it, the clipped portion shifts and is no longer the segment I originally edited, resulting in errors that persist even after exporting. This is more than just a preview-lag error, it's actually changing the portions of edited content. It's getting to the point where I'm going to literally have to edit and export individual clips, then create a new project, import all of them individualy, and export the master project. I'm using this software because I purchased what is supposed to be professional level software and I'm getting worse results than I had using Clipchamp or Movie maker.

Re: VIdeo Studio pro 2021 issues with timeline and trimming
Hi Sharxbyte - sorry nobody got back to you, probably we are just not able to understand what you are trying to do here. Are you multi-trimming the clip at the time you import it, or are you trimming manually in timeline? I always do the latter, and I'm able to extend the clips in my timeline . As for lag, you may need to tell us more about your media and system specs and whether you have enabled smart proxy and enabled hardware acceleration. Your proxy cache might also be toast for some reason, which is rare but fixable. You might want to google for a YT channel called gripps2211 , he has a clip opr two about how to get VS performance to improve because he has a potato computer apparently.
