Re: Print from RAW or from TIFF file?
Not sure I properly understand the question, but I'll say I don't think it matters. All editors convert from RAW to something else. If you use an external RAW editor like Rawtherapee, lightroom, or aftershot pro, and send to PSP or other editor they'll usually convert to an intermediary format like TIFF to retain any changes you've made to the image. If you import directly into PSP and then perform edits, you're not editing the RAW version of the image. And when you hit PRINT the software and drivers determine how the data is converted and sent to the physical printer. The starting format and bit-depth (unless really low quality and lossy compression) aren't that big of a concern for printing in my mind, it's more important for what you have to work with when editing an image.

Re: Print from RAW or from TIFF file?
I edit the RAW file in PSP and then print it from PSP through the printer driver.
In the driver preview, you can see that the image is EDITED. Probably PSP creates a temporary file in an unknown format (to me) from RAW and applies editing to it.
The benefit of printing from RAW is that you do not need to create an intermediate file manually - PSP does this automatically and then deletes it. Space saving is present.
