I'm using PSP5 and, clearly, very uneducated about it.
What I have is a background of a landscape. The layer on top of it is the silhouette of a bear. Then I want to erase the shape of a smaller bear from the larger one so that you can see a "hole" the shape of a small bear but the original background still intact.
I'm not sure if this is even very clear. I'm not sure what keywords to use.
How to paste an image, but that pasted area erases the layer below it

Do you use PSP5 (Jasc) or PSPX5 (Corel)?
