Stopped printing in color

Post by jimbir »

My 2022 version (24.1.0.27) of Paint shop pro has suddenly, (within the last couple of weeks) stopped printing in color. The colors are correct on the image I see on the screen. When I try to print it on my Epson XP-2700 expression photo printer, it will only print in grey scale. If I take a screenshot of the image and open it in Word then send that to the 8700, the colors print correctly. I have reset the workspace but that didn't fix the problem.
Can someone tell me why this has started to happen?

No idea why it would be doing that. So the first thing to do is look at the obvious places.

You mention you already tried a workspace reset (hopefully that means a full factory reset).

Can we see a screenshot of your print dialog? Both the "Options" tab and your actual printer's options? (if you're comfortable doing so, make sure the image preview is shown in the screenshot as well. Mine isn't here but that's because it was of a headshot for an office ID card I'm printing.
