File Locations Not Working

Every time I want to add to any of my file locations I get the dreaded "waiting" circle. I have to close the program using the Task Manager.
I am using psp 2022

I tried the reset cache (there is no option to reset the workspace)
I double clicked on the shift+icon 2x, and got the opening screen.
But when I clicked on any of the workspaces, it took me back to the opening screen.
Now I can't get off the opening screen.

I don't want to try the last resort. Do you know how to get me off of the welcome screen?

I just go to the workspace. I will try the steps again.

OK, I reset the database. The add location is working, but when I try and open a folder to add a location psp 2022 freezes again.

It could be checking your resources (brushes, picture tubes, etc.) for duplicates. That makes it seem like the program is frozen. Give it a few minutes to see if that clears things up.

When you double clicked the desktop icon, did you get the reset dialog box?

Yes, I did get that screen. And you were right~~~after a while I could add locations and the documents files opens.
